Lady Huskies Volleyball teams send Berea home without a single win
All three of the Lady Huskies volleyball teams topped the visiting Lady Braves from Berea on Saturday.
The ladies opened the match strong winning the first two sets 25-14, 25-17. Berea came back in the third and forth sets winning 22-25, 23-25 before finally falling to the Huskies 15-10 in the final set.
Serving has been the main player in the ladies success and this match was no different as they served up 17 aces in total. Tessa Topp led all servers going 25- of 26 from the service line with 6 aces and 19 service points. Savannah "Tater" Gregan and Amanda Bowman added 4 aces, 14 points and 2 aces, 8 points respectively.
At the net the Huskies were paced by Savannah Moore with 14 kills followed by Amanda Bowman with 12. Anna Miley added 9 kills, while Arielle Kinney (8) and Misha Peterson (6) weren't far behind.
Tessa Topp was all over the floor as she collected a career high 34 digs in the victory over Berea. Savannah Moore and Bowman dug up 14and 12 balls throughout the match.
